BELL HOOKS

Feminism is a struggle to end sexist, and patriarchal oppression.  This does not mean that oppression against women is the main issue, instead the oppression of: Race; Class; and Sex. Bell Hooks focuses on the act of political protests, that aim to change sociatal oppression, liberating groups that are exploited by the rest of society.

Bell Hooks main premise is that to truely achieve gender equality, there must first be equality between all genders, classes and cultures.
